Dave Higgins’ shoes for sale!

Not the shoes off his feet, nor even actual shoes. Rather, shoes that will never grow worn or give you blisters—we present, Dave Higgins’ painted shoe series (complete with their own stands, just itching to be placed on your mantle). We just put his Woman’s Shoes (blue) up in our shop—with more women’s and men’s offerings soon to come.

Quick Stop Art Shop - Pick of the Week

This week we’re featuring another great piece that also happens to be just $10(!): a lovely 10” x 8” digital print, an edition of 40, by San Francisco-based artist Kristine Reano. Check out this piece here at our Quick Stop Art Shop and see other works we have by the artist here.

New work by Kristine Reano!

We just got this work in—we’ll have it up in our shop later today!

mysticmountain:

Very excited about these new paintings I completed for Swarm Gallery in Oakland. They’ll be on sale in their online store, along with a few other pieces, soon.

I also have a show scheduled at NO for this May. All new pieces, all new vibe. Stay tuned!

Zachary Rossman works now a part of Swarm’s flat files

We recently received some great flat file work in by Zachary Rossman, who has a healthy appreciation for found paper. Those faded tones nicely frame the sparse imagery—that of lone black holes and floating fountains pouring from invisible origins.

See more work at our Flickr page or in person at in our gallery flat files. Also, Check our Zachary’s Black Hole #3, an archival giclee print, in our Quick Stop Art Shop.

Quick Stop Art Shop - Pick of the Week

We’re excited to announce our new Quick Stop Art Shop Picks of the Week. Starting off, we’d like to introduce Kathy Aoki’s Teddy Harvest flipbook:

Obviously, flippablity is hard to gauge through the internet, but we can personally vouch for the animated-ness that’s to be experienced upon opening one of these tiny books. These guys are $10 and fit perfectly in your pocket—in case you wanted to always have this book on hand to show the kids these days* how cartoons were made before computers ruled all.

Try them out here at the gallery and check them out online at our Quick Stop Art Shop

*or people of ANY age—who doesn’t get excited at the flip of a flipbook?

Holiday Leftovers

Our recent big group show left us with lots of leftovers-in art form-and we’d love to share some with you all.

This Ethan Worden and Gina Tuzzi collaborative photocopy (featuring a hand-perforated image of speakers) is a thoughtful, two-sided counterpoint to their lauded sound installation. They’re just $40, a fitting addition to our recent offering of amazing, cheap original & digital prints.

We also have lots of You’ll Logs, a delicious collaboration between Chris Sicat and Schurra’s Candy Factory. We tested them (for safety) and they are in fact made of the tastiest of chocolate. These custom, edible sculptures are just $10!

These leftovers and more are still here at the gallery and up now at our Quick Stop Art Shop.
