The Solace Trio is a Berkeley-based band that blends classical, punk, hip hop, and folk backgrounds to produce soundscapes that connect personal narrative to the creation of story in songs.

Cloud Shepherd is a San Francisco Bay Area improvisational quartet committed (as their name implies) to the pasturing of ever-changing, nonlinear cumulations of sound.
Grammy Award nominated violinist, composer and educator India Cooke has performed with Sun Ra, Pharaoh Sanders, Cecil Taylor, Joelle Leandre, and many others.
