Summer wanted to let us know it’ll be here soon by way of sending us lots of teasing sunshine in recent days. We just hope it sticks around a few more weeks for the best summer kick-off pool party in the art world, ArtPadSF! We’ll be setting up shop once again in room 44 at the Phoenix Hotel for this year’s fair, which takes place May 17-20.

Last year’s debut fair was highly successful, attracting more than 9,000 attendees as well as coverage in The New York Times, Art in America, Art Ltd., Artillery, 7 x 7 and more. According to Leah Garchik of the SF Chronicle, …”Art was having a good time.” There’s no other art fair quite like it, so come down and see some great new work and some old favorites by your beloved Swarm artists!

Swarm’s Jeff Eisenberg is in a solo exhibition that opened in December at POVevolving Gallery in LA. The show, Convergent De-evolution, features new graphite drawings that “suggest multiple readings of a single image; friend or foe; decay or past.” Check it out before it comes down next weekend! Click through for images from the show.

We caught up with San Francisco-based artist Jeff Eisenberg, and his pencils, about his first solo show at Swarm Gallery, opening October 30 (with a reception on Friday, November 5, 6-8PM. Live music by BEEP!). He’s preparing more than work on paper for this show (you’ll get a preview of a couple of exciting new pieces here!) - and including new media works from a collaborative project with Indiana-based artist Kristen Wilkins, “M0bile Pr4ctice”.
