Some of you might know about the wildness currently taking over the gallery, but for those who don’t, well…these photos barely do it justice:

The gallery portion of Invasive Horizon is chock-full of references toward our species’ historical meddling with nature. We have certainly come full-circle with Colin Christy’s installation of an American River Valley ecosystem inside the gallery.

It’s also nice to peer through the brush at Joseph Smolinski’s works-on-paper climate change narrative.

In addition to the sights and smells of having an riverside landscape in the gallery, we have the sounds of Joe Colley’s latest installation. A Room for T.S. Eliot marks the final show of our year-long sound program, Building Steam.

Come check out the sounds, smells, and sights as they evolve at the gallery through September 23rd.
